COMMUNITY RECYCLING BIN – PALOUSE, WA

LOCATION:
490 W Main Street (near the RV park/city storage area)


WHAT YOU CAN RECYCLE:
Place items loose (not bagged), clean, and dry
Paper (mail, magazines, office paper)
Cardboard (flattened)
Plastics (#1–#7 bottles, jars, tubs)
Aluminum and tin cans
Small scrap metal


WHAT IS NOT ACCEPTED:
Trash or garbage
Glass
Plastic bags
Food waste or liquids
Styrofoam
Hazardous materials (paint, chemicals, batteries)
Large or bulky items


IMPORTANT GUIDELINES:
Items must be clean, empty, and dry
Flatten cardboard to save space
Do not leave items outside the bin
Help keep the area clean and usable


ABOUT THIS PROGRAM:
This recycling bin is provided through a Whitman County grant
to improve recycling access in small communities.

Improper use may result in removal of the bin.
